Tasha M. Williams, CFP®, MSFS

I grew up in Arlington, Virginia as the youngest of three sisters. Early lessons, diverse experiences, and small moments shaped my values and outlook.

After graduating from the University of Maryland – College Park, I began my professional career in minor league baseball before entering financial services in 2003. Each experience became a tessera — a building block of knowledge, perspective, discipline, and appreciation for collaboration. In 2025, I launched Tesserae Modern Wealth, built on the belief that when the right pieces align, a clearer financial picture emerges.

My husband and I moved to Baltimore City in 2004, where we’re raising two children who attend local public schools — one at Baltimore School for the Arts and the other at Baltimore Polytechnic Institute. I coach youth softball, serve on the board of our local recreation league, volunteer at the schools, and stay closely connected to our community.

At work, I help clients bring the many pieces of their financial lives into a cohesive plan. The most meaningful part of what I get to do is sharing in their achievements and standing beside them in moments of challenge.
